Protective Animal Handling Gloves
When working with reptiles and other animals, protection is important—but so is the ability to feel, grip and control what you’re handling.
Animal Equipment by Stoney Protective Animal Handling Gloves are designed specifically for professional animal care applications where handlers need a balance of protection, dexterity and dependable grip.
Unlike excessively bulky handling gloves that can restrict movement, the hand and wrist portions are constructed from a single layer of supple 5.5 oz elk skin. This highly durable hide provides excellent puncture and abrasion resistance while allowing the hand to retain a useful degree of movement and tactile feedback.
Extended Forearm Protection
Protection continues beyond the hand with a lined suede cuff extending from the wrist along the forearm. The cuff provides additional protection in an area frequently exposed during animal handling and incorporates a Velcro closure to help create a secure fit and reduce the opportunity for an animal to enter at the forearm.
The extended cuff also makes these gloves suitable for certain falconry and bird-handling applications.

- Made in the USA
These gloves are suited to professional keepers, reptile handlers, wildlife professionals, zoological facilities, animal-care teams and others who routinely work around non-venomous reptiles and animals with sharp claws or teeth.
Protection Without Sacrificing Control
Animal handling equipment should help protect the handler without creating unnecessary difficulty for the animal.
The supple elk-skin construction allows considerably more natural hand movement than extremely rigid protective gloves. Maintaining dexterity and tactile feedback can help handlers use deliberate, controlled movements while performing routine animal handling tasks.
Important Safety Information
These gloves are not puncture-proof, and no protective glove should be treated as a guarantee against bites, punctures or other animal-related injuries.
DO NOT USE THESE GLOVES FOR HANDLING VENOMOUS SNAKES.
They were designed and tested with non-venomous reptiles, sharp teeth and claws in mind. Always use appropriate handling procedures, tools, training and safety protocols for the species being managed.
Made in the USA exclusively for Animal Equipment by Stoney.
